Dead Man’s Hand

The “Dead Man’s Hand” consists of two black eights and two black aces. According to legend, this was the last hand of Wild Bill Hickok before he was taken out of the game – and out of life – in the Wild West. Today, it is seen as a symbol of a fateful yet iconic combination at the poker table. Is it a bad hand? Not necessarily, but it is certainly a hand with history.

Dolly

Small, transparent and surprisingly powerful: the dolly is the cylindrical marker chip that the croupier places on the winning number at the end of each roulette game. At that moment it means: hands off the chips! No new bets, no collecting – the dolly marks the pause between excitement and payout. It is essentially the “Do not disturb” sign of the roulette table.
