A new start under the sign of the sun
Since 1 July 2025, the ten Casino locations in Lower Saxony – in Bad Bentheim, Bad Pyrmont, Bad Zwischenahn, Braunschweig, Göttingen, Hanover, Norderney, Osnabrück, Seevetal and Wolfsburg – have been part of the large MERKUR family.
After winning the state tender for the Casino licence back in November 2023, the legal dispute with the previous operator has now also been settled out of court. With the approval of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Finance, nothing more stood in the way of the takeover by MERKUR.
