Your first visit to an arcade

Are you planning your first visit to a MERKUR Arcade or would you like to know exactly how it works? We’ll show you step by step what to expect – from admission to getting started. Here, we explain the most important points in detail once again.

1. Admission – what you need to have ready

Before you get started, you will definitely need your ID card.

At the entrance, we carry out a legally required exclusion check via OASIS . This checks:

1. whether there is an active player exclusion
2. whether you have reached the legally required minimum age for the respective federal state

Only after a successful check will you receive your activation card.

2. Activating a machine – how to start your game

With your activation card, go to one of the activation terminals in the gaming area.

1. There, select the machine of your choice.
2. A personal PIN code will then be displayed.
3. Now enter this code using the touchpad on the machine

and your gaming machine will be activated.

Important:
Only one machine may be activated per player at any one time.

3. Game selection – quickly find your favourite game

After activation, you can insert your money into the designated slots and start playing.
On the start screen, you will find a clear selection of games.

4. Payout & logout – how to end your game properly

If you want to finish your game:

1. Have your balance paid out directly at the gaming machine
   
   • The payout button is usually located in the centre of the button panel
2. Make sure to logout on the touchscreen
3. Finally, you can simply throw your activation card into the designated station in the exit areas
