In Serbia, the minimum age for all of our arcades is 18. After checking in and undergoing an age verification if necessary, guests can choose from various options—depending on the location:

Different countries, different customs?
There are similarities as well as differences between the gambling offerings in Serbia and Germany: For example, in Serbia, the legal requirements differ in some respects from those we are familiar with in Germany. Alcoholic beverages may be served and consumed, but only up to a maximum alcohol content of five percent. Food, on the other hand, is not permitted. In addition, various non-alcoholic beverages and specialty coffees are offered.
However, the MERKUR standards remain in place: As in Germany, there are clear guidelines for the protection of minors and responsible gaming. For example, relevant notices and signs must be placed in clearly visible locations. The service staff at our locations also receive regular training and consistently focus on addressing guests’ questions and needs.
Just as we do in Germany, we regularly analyze and update our specific game offerings and tailor them to the preferences of guests at each location.
The trend is toward online gaming
In addition to slot machines, the online sector in particular is rapidly gaining importance and is emerging as the most dynamic market segment. At the same time, modern sports betting offerings, live betting, virtual games, and the broadcast of current sporting events remain central components of the in-store experience in Serbia.
