Arcade of the Month: Zwickau

With just under 88,000 inhabitants, Zwickau, Saxony’s fourth-largest city, has plenty to offer. In addition to the August Horch Museum, the Robert Schumann House and St. Mary’s Cathedral, you’ll also find the MERKUR Arcade Zwickau at Äußere Schneeberger Straße 93 , which has been here since March 2010. Highlights awaiting you include two elegant billiard tables , two dartboards that guarantee a thrill, and of course a wide variety of gaming machines featuring your favourite games.

After ordering your favourite drink at the bar, you can take a seat at one of the machines. Here you’ll find the M-BOX , the ZONIC and the brand-new ZONIC Curved . In total, 12 machines are waiting for you. And if you ever feel like taking things a little easier, you can do so at two elegant billiard tables. But it’s not just billiards on offer here: you can also pass the time with a game of darts. Two dart machines will put you and your steady hand to the test. To make sure you can play completely undisturbed, the dart machines are located in a separate room.

There are many good reasons to come to Zwickau, but we’ll give you a few more. After all the excitement, it’s only natural to get a little hungry. That’s why we’ve prepared something special for you: here in Zwickau, you’ll be spoilt for choice with a variety of dishes such as pizzas, mini schnitzels, baked Camembert, chicken nuggets, donuts, cakes, Bifi, ice cream in summer, pretzels, or simply some sweets from our sweet tray.
