Kassel is known for art, culture, and the Hercules monument. But right next to the main train station hides a true classic: our MERKUR Arcade – a place full of history and character.

Because ever since 23 March 1979, the reels have been spinning here – in one of the oldest MERKUR Arcade venues we operate in Germany. This makes it one of our few retro locations.

A team with history

In Kassel, it’s not just the MERKUR SPIELHALLE that has stood the test of time – the team also brings years of experience to the table. Ten team members, many of whom have been with us for years, ensure a great atmosphere and top-notch service with heart, humour, and the right instinct.

No one stays thirsty here: the team will be happy to serve you coffee, water, and of course tea. Everything else is easily available from our drinks machine.

The arcade is spread across two concessions with a total of 24 modern machines – including ZONIC , M-BOX, M-BOX Trio and M-BOX Curved .

Two pool tables and Kassel’s only snooker table make this location a popular spot for cue sports fans as well.
