Blackjack

In addition, at the MERKUR Casino Leuna you’ll find two blackjack tables, which open daily for you and your companions on request.

Blackjack is characterised by simple rules and a varied course of play. Originally derived from the French Vingt-et-un, it is still often referred to as “17+4” or “21”. The ace counts as either “1” or “11”, king, queen and jack each as “10”, and all other cards at their face value. With an ace and a ten or a picture card, you win instantly (“blackjack”) and receive one and a half times your stake – provided the house does not also have blackjack .

Admission is granted from the age of 18.

We also want you to feel comfortable with us. You don’t need to wear your finest evening attire to visit the casino – smart casual clothing is always welcome.

From the B181 coming from Leipzig, follow the signs to “NOVA” and drive straight ahead past the ARAL petrol station.
From the B181 coming from Merseburg, drive towards “NOVA” and follow the signs to “Spielbank”.

By public transport (bus/train):
Take bus line 131 to the stop “Schwarzer Bär” or “NOVA”. From there, it is only a few minutes’ walk to the casino.

Good Friday (all day), the Day of National Mourning (Volkstrauertag) and Sunday of the Dead (Totensonntag), in each case from 5:00 a.m. onwards, as well as from 24 December, 5:00 a.m. until 26 December, 5:00 a.m.
