Fiery Feature Fun

The additional feature EXPLOSION is set in a stunning volcanic landscape, where volcanoes erupt with glowing hot lava and can award cool success.

You can select an additional feature on many MERKUR multigamers, such as the ZONIC . Whether and which feature you can activate is shown on the device screen and indicated by the feature button, which appears at the bottom right of the monitor during gameplay.

If you want to play a game with an additional feature, simply click the feature button in the game and choose your feature level. The feature is now activated and can be triggered randomly during your game.

Explosion-Feature

When activating the EXPLOSION feature, you first choose an additional level of five, ten, or twenty.

The feature can be triggered in two different ways:

  • If your success amounts to five times (or more) the selected level, a volcano slides over the reel set, from which the MERKUR sun shoots upwards. If it’s catapulted all the way to the top edge of the screen (similar to a high striker), the feature is activated.
  • EXPLOSION also starts if at least three volcanoes appear on the screen during the base game, regardless of paylines.

What awaits you in the EXPLOSION feature

If the volcanoes have taken you into the bonus feature, they remain in the same positions as in the base game. If the hammer strength function has triggered EXPLOSION, the volcanoes are randomly distributed across the reels at the start of the feature.

In both variants, if another volcano lands, you receive a respin.

This is how the feature ends

EXPLOSION ends as soon as no further volcano appears on the reels or when the entire reel set is filled with fiery symbols.

If three, four, five or nine volcanoes land, you receive instant wins. If six, seven or eight volcanoes appear, a special play is triggered: five ice floes display different win amounts. In the background, a volcano erupts and hurls lava across the frozen sea. After the eruption, only one ice floe remains – the amount shown on it is credited to you.
