The symbols “+” and “–” are to be understood as follows:
- “+” = more goals than the given line will be scored.
- “–” or “0–2” = fewer goals than the given line will be scored.
The given line always refers to the number of goals scored in regular time. For example, if you bet on “over 2.5,” at least three goals must be scored in the match.
Example:
I bet on “over 2.5” in the match Bayern Munich vs. Eintracht Frankfurt.
- If the match ends 2:1, 3:0, or with more goals, the bet is won.
- If the match ends 2:0, the bet is lost.
The bet is won the moment three goals have been scored in the match. For this type of bet, it does not matter which team scores the goals.
Info: This type of bet exists across various sports, e.g. with sets in tennis and volleyball, with points in basketball and handball, and with goals in football (soccer).
