2026 World Cup Matchday Prediction – Matchday 2: Who Will Come Out on Top?

Switzerland clearly have the stronger squad on paper and will be looking to make an early statement in Group B. Austria have established themselves as a compact and well-organised side. The Austrian team will not be easy to beat. Nevertheless, Argentina possess too much quality and experience throughout the squad to stumble here. Argentina should win, even if it is not a goal fest.
