Full concentration at the table, exciting matches and plenty of good vibes: the two-part billiards tournament created a real tournament atmosphere across several MERKUR Arcades in the Cologne/Bonn region. Even for the qualifying rounds at the end of April in the MERKUR Arcades on Luxemburger Straße , Rolshover Straße and Venloer Straße in Cologne, as well as in Bonn , Euskirchen and St. Augustin , numerous billiards fans signed up – all aiming to secure a place in the final round.
From casual players to billiards pros
What made the tournament especially great was the diverse field of participants. From casual players to experienced billiards enthusiasts, everyone was represented – and that was exactly what made the tournament so appealing. The matches were played according to a tournament schedule, with the respective winners qualifying for the grand final. Alongside sporting ambition, however, the main focus was above all on enjoying the experience together.
