What did seven Game Scouts experience on behalf of MERKUR in the gaming capital of the USA? Let's find out!
For the second time in a row, we sent seven carefully chosen MERKUR Game Scouts to the gambling metropolis par excellence. After an exciting application process, seven candidates were selected – all passionate players with a keen sense for engaging game systems and creative features.
Their mission: to explore the gaming capital Las Vegas for five days, gathering inspiration and trends on site to enhance MERKUR’s offering in Germany.
The itinerary naturally included numerous casino visits – among them the Red Rock Casino and the famous Caesars Palace – but joint activities in the dazzling city were also a must, because there was plenty to experience beyond the casinos too! During an evening stroll along the legendary Fremont Street, the Scouts immersed themselves in the sparkling heart of Downtown Las Vegas. From the “High Roller”, North America’s tallest Ferris wheel at 167 metres, they enjoyed a breathtaking view over the city and also attended an exhilarating ice hockey game.
In this way, the Scouts gathered countless experiences in the casinos while also discovering the many different sides of Las Vegas.
A special highlight of the week was the visit to the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) on the fourth day. Here, the Game Scouts had the exclusive opportunity to take a look at international product innovations and experience first-hand which developments could soon enrich the German market. Spectacular animations, sound effects, and new game mechanics sparked noticeable excitement.
The MERKUR Game Scouts 2025 returned to Germany brimming with impressions and new ideas. Their discoveries from Las Vegas are now being carefully analysed – with the goal of bringing the very best from the world of gaming to Germany’s MERKUR Arcades.
